The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Dinner drew strong support from members and guests. The dinner was held on Dec. 1, in the Lewisburg Recreation Center’s Conference Room.

Chamber President Rob Wiles opened the evening with a warm welcome followed by the invocation from Mike Whitehead. The delicious meal was prepared by Sisters II and not a single person went home hungry.

The tradition carried on this year, with the option of decorating the tables and Lewisburg Electric System took home the traveling trophy.

President Wiles introduced the new Chamber staff members, Tracy Harris and Pam Davis, as well as the 2026 Chamber President, Jesse Thompson of Lewisburg Patterson Company. New Board members were also introduced. Allie Carpenter with Columbia State Community College; Jonathan Kelley with Marshall Medical Center; Michael Sweeney with Marelli, and Michael Miller with Famous Car Rentals. Wiles went on to say that 33 new members joined the Chamber in 2025, bringing the total 163 Chamber members.

The 2025 Chamber participated in several events during the year such as seven ribbon cuttings, 14 Chamber Coffees, Freedom Fest, assisted with the July 4th Parade, 4th of July Celebration, Chamber Lunch and Learn with Kenneth George as lecturer, and participated in the Marshall County Young Professionals Pumpkin Trail.

The entertainment was provided by “us two and him.” John Rickman, Jim Rickman, and Phil Comstock have been performing together since 1972 and still sound great. They sang several of their original songs and had the crowd laughing and truly living in the moment.

Several attendees had their names drawn for amazing door prizes donated by Chamber members.
