The 2024 Cornersville Citizen of the Year, Lorenzo Rios, was born in Mexico. He came here 25 years ago and has made Cornersville his home since that time. He has been married to Trina Rios for over 20 years and they are the proud grandparents of three children and eight grandchildren.
Lorenzo can always be seen in the stands supporting his grandchildren at every sporting event or in the audience at any school program. He is always available to help whenever someone is needed whether it be for the Cornersville Booster Club, Cornersville Events Committee, Cornersville Youth Football League or the Marshall County Cancer Foundation.
This well-deserved honor highlights his outstanding commitment to the community, his dedication to helping others, and his tireless work in making Cornersville a better place for all. Lorenzo never wants any recognition, but does it because he loves being involved and strives to make Cornersville a place everyone would love to come visit. Lorenzo received his award at Cornersville’s 4th Annual Main Street Christmas Festival this past Saturday.
