NHC-Lewisburg hosted a prom for the residents at the facility. Just like a high school prom, the ladies wore prom dresses and employees helped with their make-up and hair. A special thanks to Marti Sullivan and Miss Marshall County Tri Star for donating the dresses. The ladies had a time of their lives trying them on and deciding which one to wear to this big occasion.
The prom included entertainment by Melody Spence, food from Dominos Pizza, and prom portraits. Special guests were Hannah Lewie, Miss Marshall County; Chelsea Hargrove, Miss Marshall County Tri Star; and Miss Teen Chapel Hill, Payton Todd.
Several residents received crowns, trophies, and certificates which were given out by Abry Johnson and Aleeyah Whitaker.
Of course there was a prom king and queen, Mr. NHC, Ms. NHC, most talented, best dressed, wittiest, and most outgoing.
“This was the best day ever. This made the staff and me so happy to see the residents having a great time. This event meant so much to everyone,” stated Chandra Hall, CNA and Director of Life Enrichment at NHC Lewisburg.
