Every year, the Lewisburg Rotary Club chooses a recipient of the “Service Above Self” award and that person leads the Rotary’s annual Christmas Parade. Marilyn Sullivan-Gross and Marti Sullivan were both chosen as recipients of this award for 2023!
These women have served Marshall County by raising tens of thousands of dollars for local animal rescue and scholarships for young women in our community participating in the Miss Marshall County Tri-Star and Miss Lewisburg Pageants. They have sponsored Angel Trees and other holiday initiatives throughout the area. Their 931 Sequins and Lace Prom Dress Closet event has given more than 150 girls the opportunity to go to prom wearing a beautiful dress at no cost.
We are so thankful Marilyn and Marti give back to our community and excited to have them as Grand Marshalls of the 2023 Lewisburg Rotary Club Christmas Parade.
