Edwina Fowler Terry, 92, of Cornersville, Tenn., died Friday, July 26, 2024, at her residence.
She was born September 27, 1931, in Marshall County, to the late Otis Eull and Knoxie Cochran Fowler. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Marshall County School System and was a member of theRobertson Fork Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Edward Terry in 2020; brothers, Sidney, Ezell, Hugh Thomas, Harold “Moe” and James L. Fowler; sisters, Virginia “Jenny” Donald, Mary Ruth Calvert Pruitt, Evelyn Wright, and Faye Dyer.
She is survived by her son, Timmy (Freda) Terry of Cornersville; two sisters, June Welch and Peggy Beard; one brother, Cordell Fowler; two grandsons, Jonathan Terry and Jason (Morgan) Terry; four great-grandchildren, Morgan Renee, Timothy Luke, Thomas Logan, and William (LJ) Carter Terry; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family was at the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, Tenn., Monday, July 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The funeral service was conducted Monday, July 29, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial following in Mars Hill Cemetery.
