Lewisburg Police Department’s Cops for Kids
On Saturday, December 2, the Cops for Kids Program, which included city police officers, numerous volunteers from the three county schools, as well as those individuals who volunteer each year, purchased clothing, toys, and other items for children through donations. As reported last week in the Marshall County Post, Local UAW 1853 – Retiree Chapter, with the help of Mike Martinez, purchased coats.
Approximately 60 children will receive a coat along with the items from the Cops for Kids Program.
Because of these generous volunteers, Mike Martinez, and the Cops for Kids Program, the children’s Christmas will be merrier. Special thanks to Kim Solomon for organizing this program.
